Program Options
Health Information (HIM) professionals are highly trained in the latest information management technology applications and understand the workflow in any healthcare provider organization from large hospital systems to the private physician practice. They ensure a patient’s health information and records are complete, accurate, and protected. Healthcare Informatics is a multidisciplinary field which involves information technology and the management of health data and information. These professionals assist in the building and enhancement of electronic health record systems for use by healthcare providers and healthcare organizations to improve access to, and utilization of, health information.
Coding Specialists are specifically trained in the coding of medical/health records. By assigning the proper codes to diagnoses and procedures, accurate financial reimbursement may be made by insurance companies and government agencies. Upon successfully completing 易胜博’s online Coding Specialist program, you are eligible to take the national examination sponsored by AAPC and earn the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential.
